Living Room Games is a game you play with people you know. It is not funded by advertising and it does not make money from what it knows about you, so there is very little here.

Only for games played online against other people. Everything below exists to make that work.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To sign you in and to recover your account. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your address, Apple gives us a relay address instead and we never see your real one. |
| Your handle | So friends can invite you by name. Other players can see it. It is your choice and you can change it. |
| Your games | The board position, the moves, whose turn it is, and how each game ended. A game played over days has to be stored somewhere between turns. |
| Your record | Wins, losses and draws per game, so the stats screen has something to show. |
| Notification tokens | Only if you turn notifications on. It is the address Apple uses to deliver a nudge that it is your turn. Turning notifications off removes it. |
| Messages you send in a match | A reference to which of the fixed phrases you chose. There is no free-text field in this app, so there is no free text to store. |
| Blocks and reports | Who you have blocked, and if you report someone, who you reported and the reason you gave. This is how the safety tools work. |
There is also a short-lived counter used to rate limit requests, so that one account cannot flood another with invitations.
No advertising identifier, no location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no browsing activity, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDK of any kind. Nothing tracks you across other apps or websites.
If the app crashes, Apple's own system collects a diagnostic report and hands it back to the app on the next launch. That report is written to a file on your device and is never uploaded on its own. A crash report can contain whatever happened to be in memory, so it leaves your phone only if you choose to send it with a bug report.
On Amazon Web Services, in their US East region, in an account belonging to Healthy Dynamics. Sign-in is handled by Amazon Cognito.
Two other companies are necessarily involved: Apple, which delivers notifications and, if you use it, handles Sign in with Apple; and Amazon Web Services, which hosts everything. Neither is given your data for their own purposes.
Your account and games are kept while your account exists. Matches that nobody has touched for fourteen days are closed automatically, but the record of them stays, because it is part of both players' history.
Reports are kept while they are being dealt with and afterwards, so that a pattern of behaviour is still visible later.
In the app: Matches, then the account button, then Delete account. It happens straight away and is not reversible.
Your sign-in is deleted, your handle is replaced with an anonymous one so nobody can find you by it, and your notification tokens are removed. A record of the account itself stays, holding no personal information, because finished games refer to it: without it, the person you played last month would have a history that cannot say who it was against.
If you would rather ask than tap, write to support@livingroomgames.net and it will be done for you.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and accounts should not be created for them. Playing the computer or passing the device around needs no account at all, and collects nothing.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who it is shared with, the date at the top will change and the app will say so before the change takes effect.
